Holiday Feast Spectacular!

Breakfast: Cinnamon Rolls
I am changing it up.  The last few years we’ve had this amazing Bananas Foster Chia pudding.  But my son is begging for cinnamon rolls, so I am going to give it a shot.

Lunch: Scrounge
If I am making a big holiday meal, I don’t make lunch.  Not sorry.  I usually plan dinner for earlier, so everyone will have to content themselves with leftovers or make themselves salads.  This is one way we keep in real in this house.  Yes, yes, holiday magic and special occaisions, and all that.  But that doesn’t mean that I have to be tied to the kitchen for all three meals.  In fact, as long as this horrible head cold clears up, I’d like to go for a run.

Dinner:
Roasted Rack of Lamb with Basil Goat Cheese Sauce

Parsnip Gnocchi with Basil Oil

Lemon Butter Green Beans with Cranberries, Walnuts and Feta

Roasted Mushrooms in Browned Butter, Garlic, and Thyme Sauce

Primal Eggnog

I know lamb is more of a spring thing, but my kids really wanted to try it since we’ve now tried all the poultry that is readily available (not quail or pheasant).  So we are going with it.  Since we are having a sweet breakfast, I’m limiting our dessert to eggnog.  The adults can spike it with some run and kids will enjoy it as is.
